Eco-Friendly environmental Society was not born by accident. It was born out of a long felt need to protect Mother Nature by her concerned sons and daughters; irrespective of caste, creed, color, ethnicity, religion and all such forms of diversity.

There was an urgent need to strike a balance between modern technology and environmental conservation. The concept was innovative; the task was gigantic; the thinking was revolutionary; nevertheless, the need was urgent.

I rallied round, pooled all our strengths and launched our pad in all the districts of Sri Lanka of Mannar, Vavuniya, Jaffna, Mullaitivu and Killinochchi. We are expecting also establish a network with the Sri Lankans living in Australia, USA, France and Singapore.

The unchecked advance of modern technology has wreaked pandemonium and destruction. It is high time that we stop talking and spring into meaningful action. Our aim is to be the helping hand that guides humanity to strike the right balance between modern technology and environmental concerns for the benefit of future generations.

I have identified an Action Plan to deal with the problem - (a) the Short Term Action Plan, and (b) the Long Term Action Plan. We hope that you will be with us in our endeavors to realize our aims and objectives in saving and protecting Mother Nature.

We will work with the National Farmers Association to promote ecologically friendly and spiritually inclined farming practices termed “Ecospir”.

We have seriously considered the matter that people using wooden energy for their domestic energy support. An each person destroyed huge numbers of trees during the life cycle for their necessities and result will be reflecting by many ways. Mainly the global temperature is going high and increasing the carbon dioxide percentage of the earth.

Most of important facts is domestic bio-gas unit is sufficient to produce gas for 6 members of family and ½ acers of compost requirement. In additional 15l liters of milk will be produced that 1 liter domestic usage and remain will crate direct income.
